Hotel Delfin is surrounded by a crystal clear sea and lush pine forests in the popular Zelena Laguna Bay, just 5km south from the charming town of Porec.
The bay offers everything you need for a holiday full of sun, sea and outdoor leisure;(water) sports facilities, well tended beaches (just 50m from the hotel) with sun beds, parasols, showers, beach bars, restaurants and shops but there are also plenty of quiet natural beaches just a short walk away. Just a few metres from the shore you can find an abundance of marine life, waiting to be discovered. No wonder that the Zelena Laguna Bay proudly waves its Blue Flag; an international award for top quality beaches.The sunbathing lawns and parks around the hotel provide a peaceful and safe environment where the whole family can rest and enjoy a well deserved holiday. And why not have a look at the nearby Hotel Parentium, which also has a great location in the Zelena Laguna Bay.

The historical old town of Porec is situated on a peninsula protected from the sea by the island of St. Nicholas. Cobbled lanes, colourful traditional stone houses, fashionable shops, romantic waterfront cafes and atmospheric restaurants are just a small part of what Porec has to offer. Porec also has a rich cultural heritage, beautiful surrounding hills with scenic vineyards and orchards that are great for exploring on foot or by bike and many (water)sport facilities, including tennis, golf, mini golf, scuba diving, water skiing and much more.

During the summer visitors can enjoy various open air music and folklore festivals and the town can easily be reached via a special boat and a bus that travel from the Zelena Laguna Bay to Porec each hour and a tourist train that runs every 30min.

Rooms and facilities at Hotel Delfin:

Hotel Delfin offers 793 non-air conditioned rooms of modest size, with a telephone and a bathroom with a shower. Rooms are either sea side or park side. Not all rooms have a balcony. The air conditioned restaurant offers a breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. There is an outdoor salt water pool with sun beds, a hair salon, aperitif bar, pool bar, dance terrace, TV room and exchange office. For a fee guests can use the lobby’s WiFi, surveillance car parking and safes. There is a mini club for children, mini disco and an animation team during the summer season and a children’s playground can be found close to the hotel. For the adults there are morning gym sessions, aqua aerobics and sports tournaments. In the evening you can enjoy a drink while watching a show or listening to live music.

Porec Croatia – Holidays in Porec

Porec is among the absolute top holiday destinations in Croatia. The city is situated at the west coast of the Istria peninsula. During summer months, population of the city increases dramatically; all the additional people are housed in hotels, private apartments or in some of the very large campsites which can be found by Porec. The centre of thr town is the old town peninsula, which is a must see. The top sight in the old town is the Euphrasian Basilica which is a UNESCO world heritage site. In general, the old town has a very nice historical architecture which makes the place quite charming.

In terms of food there are plenty of options in and around the old town. The food offer is mainly a typical mixture of local and Italian food. Of course there are also lots of fish on the menu, personally I find the restaurants on the main square in front of the old town a bit too expensive (compared to quality), I prefer one of the smaller restaurants in the old town.

As mentioned there is a large selection of accommodation in Porec. In the old town mainly private apartments can be found, but as the offer is limited it can be difficult to find something if you do not book early. Along the coast south of Porec there is a large number of hotels in various categories to choose between. The hotel offer in Porec also includes all-inclusive hotels. North of Porec there are several very large Campsites offering a full range of facilities.
